About Dr. Antoury
Dr. Clara Antoury is a board‑certified gastroenterologist who brings both expertise and genuine compassion to every patient she meets. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Bioethics Certificate from Cleveland State University, where she developed a strong foundation in science and a thoughtful appreciation for the ethical dimensions of patient care.
She went on to earn her medical degree from Wright State University and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. There, she gained extensive experience caring for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions and discovered how meaningful it is to guide someone through a difficult diagnosis with clarity and empathy. Dr. Antoury continued her training at Allegheny General Hospital, serving as Chief Fellow while completing her gastroenterology fellowship. During this time, she pursued advanced specialization in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), allowing her to offer minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for pancreatico‑biliary disorders.
Dr. Antoury is known for her thorough, thoughtful approach and her commitment to helping patients feel empowered — taking time to explain diagnoses, answer questions, and partner with them in shared decision‑making.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Antoury is an avid reader who loves getting lost in a good book. She enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
